Are there any precautions?

It is absolutely necessary to take HISTAsolv before food (ideally about 15 minutes before). After this time, the tablet should have already dissolved and the DAO contained will be active by the time the food containing histamine reaches the intestine. The tablet should not be chewed, it should be swallowed whole to allow the contents to pass through the stomach and reach the intestine without being affected. If you are taking medications regularly, ask your doctor or pharmacist if any of the active substances contained in these medications can reduce the breakdown of histamine. Alcohol can substantially inhibit the activity of the DAO enzyme. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of small children.
